A woman becomes the mother of a child the next day.

The women who work in the brick kiln work side by side with the men. They do not have time to take care of their own health. Many of them get married before the age of 18. They can't eat nutritious food for the money they earn by working in the brick kiln. When they become the mother of the child, the child is suffering from malnutrition.

Dinabandhu Foundation celebrated its 1st Foundation Day on 14th March, 2022

 

On the death anniversary of the Late Dinabandhu Ghosh, the 1st founding day of Dinabandhu Foundation Trust (in memory of late Dinabandhu Ghosh) was celebrated on 14th March, 2022 with a luncheon for all the needy children in H.B.F brickyard.

On the day of International Women's Day on 8th March, 2022, in honor of all the women, we reached a tribal village on behalf of Dinabandhu Foundation. Sanitary napkins, soap, some dry food and biscuits, crispy fried beaten rice and soap were distributed to the women of the tribal village. Health drinks are given to pregnant mothers.

On 14th February, 2022, on Valentine's Day, we gave DINABANDHU FOUNDATION (Trust) a gift of happiness by distributing milk, cakes, biscuits, sweets and chocolates to the helpless children in a brick kiln.

The children of the brick kiln are very helpless and do not get food in their stomachs twice. They smile whenever they get any food. So Dinabandhu Foundation Trust distributed some dry food along with children's nutritious food milk. We spent the day happily with the children, filling them with happiness. Dinabandhu Foundation witnessed the joy of the brick kiln children on that day.

The second phase of distribution of winter clothes to the helpless children of poor families was completed in extreme cold weather. Dinabandhu Foundation has successfully implemented a new sweater distribution program for 250 helpless children in January, 2022. The little ones were crying because they had no clothes in winter. Helpless children were suffering from cold and cough. We also gave dry food to the miserable helpless children. We spent some time with the kids happily.

Dinabandhu foundation was running PROJECT MILK for last two month. Distributing milk to needy daily wagers, pregnant women mainly for kids. Feed milk and dry foods to the children of brick kilns and slum areas at breakfast. Milk and dry food was distributed to them so that they can boost their immunity and also fulfill their daily need.

Assisting persons with disabilities

A person may become dumb, deaf & physically deformed on account of injury, disease or congenital deformity, and thus he becomes substantially handicapped in obtaining. Many face discrimination or get treated as second class citizens or worse seen as a “poor soul.” The dumb, deaf & handicap makes the person lose his self-confidence and he considers himself a burden on his family and the society, as he has always to depend on others for doing his routine work. The mission of Dinabandhu Foundation is to inculcate in them that they still can lead a normal life. The trust provides all possible assistance for their education and handicrafts. In some cases, the foundation provide food items for people with disabilities.

Brick kiln and slum children in India are deprived of basic meal. As a children they are malnourished and sick. So our foundation has launched the 'Ahhar' project to facilitate the distribution of nutritious food to the children of brick kilns and slums at the same time.

On behalf of Dinabandhu Foundation, the lunch programs of malnourished children were successfully implemented on Diwali (04/11/2021) and Bhai Dooj (06/11/2021) at RNG brick kiln & HBF brick kiln at noon. The children are very helpless, they are very happy to get food. The winter season is coming, the number of children in brick kilns is increasing day by day.

Dear All,

   On the behalf of Dinabandhu Foundation, We are starting a campaign to help every underprivileged girl/woman by giving them FREE eco-friendly sanitary napkins today. One girl will be getting 7 pads of napkins (atleast 1 Month package).

In the interest of humanity, we provide help of food, stationery items and essential medicines to the families of some helpless elderly, ill, disabled and blind helpless people in every month.
